Our team at The Coaches Site is comprised of individuals who have first hand experience with the impact sports can have on the individuals who participate in them. We have experienced the game of hockey as players, coaches, managers and parents. These experiences have extended from minor hockey, to junior hockey, international competition and all the way to the NHL.
Weiss Tech Hockey provides coaching for hockey coaches. We offer tools and services to help hockey coaches achieve a higher level of understanding and performance.
These tools include multi-media instructional material, hockey drills, video skills and game analysis, virtual consulting, product reviews & recommendations, and various other types of coaching tips.
This facebook group was created to help minor (and all other) hockey coaches share best practices and ideas while supporting each other and asking + answering questions.
I grew up in a small farm town and LOVED playing hockey, the best part of hockey was getting together with friends and just having fun. Of course I also had a passion to improve and be the best I could. In a small town you get taught whatever your coach feels like teaching you, some coaches were great and others were just coaching because their son played on the team. I learned a lot about hockey, but also had to figure a lot of things out on my own.
